Seminar 2: «College Financing: What Are The College Costs And How To Pay Them?" – in English
- Thursday, December 6th, 18.30 - 20.00 -- "College Financing: What are the College Costs Today and How to Pay Them? Top ten strategies" -- Practical seminar for parents and children in middle and high school (grades 7,8,9,10,11, and 12) from private and public schools.
What? The program will include expert presentation, "Q&A", universities themed lottery, useful handouts, and a College Admissions Jeopardy. What is the cost of college today? How to avoid typical mistakes when planning for college financing? Who awards the biggest scholarships? Why families pay different prices for the same colleges? How to estimate your family contribution in advance? What are the ways to reduce the cost of tuition? When to file FAFSA? What if parents are divorced? Is it true that private colleges are more expensive than public? If we don't want to borrow money for college, what are our options? What is the maximum students can earn while working on-campus?
Who? The seminar is conducted by Victoria Brailitsa Bonelli, President & Leading Advisor of Priority College, LLC. Priority College is a college and career advising company located in Maryland. The company has partnered with six local Russian-language schools in Greater Washington. Priority College is the only company providing college counseling services in English and Russian in DMV area. We work locally, nationally, and internationally, one on one and via Skype. Our students have been accepted to their dream colleges, including Ivy League schools.
